entry visas, flights to/within Australia, driver's licence...
- Everyone entering Australia is required to have valid travel documentation - visa and passport (required documents).
- If travelling from overseas, it is important that your visa application is made well in advance of anticipated travel time. Please check carefully with your travel agent to confirm all visa details.
- Location and address details for Australian Visa offices, worldwide, are listed here. Please note: Status as a conference delegate, alone, does not guarantee the issuing of a visa.
- The web site for the Department of Immigration, provides information on:
- How to apply for a Visa. Depending on your circumstance, you may apply for a Business (456) or Tourist visa.
- The Business visa has some restrictions, but is generally quicker in processing. Make sure that you note your conferencing dates clearly on your application - this will expedite the process
- ETAs - electronic visas. Certain countries ONLY (specified on the web site) may apply for these; the cost is reduced, and the application time expedited!
- Customs clearance
- Quarantine regulations and health issues
Please check the Immigration web site and also check with your travel agent
